We had our 6th anti-Covid jab 3 weeks ago and both had a sore stiff arm for a day but otherwise zero side effects. In our Village it seems that lately there are a lot of cases but no really bad cases and no-one departed this mortal coil due to Covid. Other causes have applied. Also to our knowledge we have not had Covid, we have never even had any symptoms so either we are extremely lucky so far or the vaccine actually works.

We were meant to get COVID jab and flu jab last Friday .We both got COVID 2 weeks after the last jab in Sep 2022, so decided this year not to bother. An awful lot of younger folk dying in this area in age 40-50, and rumour is after effects of COVID vaccine. Older friends have reported being quite ill for 1+ weeks after the jab Local nursing home smitten by COVID, but Scottish government don't bother now.

We've all had our autumn boosters here with no significant ill effects. It's sad to see that social media scaremongering is still alive and well, but I'll continue to take advantage of Covid, 'flu and any other jabs that are on offer to protect my health and protect the NHS and others from me!

i had my booster in October. tested positive on Monday. more like a heavy cold, feeling knackered. my wife who got it a few days before me was suffering with bad headaches and nausea. she hasn't had the latest booster as she's a little younger than me. amazing how are symptoms are so different. lots of COVID around here at the moment and i was surprised you can no longer upload the result to the gov/nhs site. that's from the home tests. seems to be normalised now.

Yep loads of people getting covid round here too but quite a few that we speak to haven't had the covid jab this time. Our neighbours have had it and it made them really ill and they say they haven't felt right since. I thought i had it a few weeks ago but tested negative but still don't feel right. One of my mates hasn't had any of the jabs, he's in his 50s and has health issues, but he got covid a couple weeks back but he seems fine now, lasted about ten days he said. So is it has bad now as it was ?
