I thought there was another thread about Covid but i can't find it, anyhoo anyone had the 4th booster, or flooster if you have both the flu and covid jab yet? There doesn't seem to be much uptake for the 4th one it seems so was wondering if anyone on here has had it yet and if there's any after affects still? We are both booked in for November the 5th. I think folk are burying 'jabs' under "what have you done today" ... Mum, 95, has had both flu and covid booster - one in each arm - with a little bit of soreness but no real issue. I've had the flu one last week and am due the Covid booster on Saturday ... Thanks Phillip :TU:

Yes ... only the Covid jab (Moderna Spikevax) so only the one bad arm (and it's not that bad). But also a 'mild fever' which is a bit of a nuisance since I've got quite a lot to do today ...

Mine was the Pfizer and it's the first of my Covid jabs to have caused an issue. The flu jab arm isn't too bad.

I had mine a few weeks ago. FLu in left, Covid in right. same side-effects as first three (been the Pfizer all 4 times for me) ... developed slight ache in covid arm after around 8 hours and lasted 2 days. Same kind of effect as if when you give blood you get an awkward stap with the needed. Minor and irrelevant compared to the benefit/protection it will give Friend in Glasgow reported he had a 2 hour wait to get the jab when he went in for his. Where we are, it was a matter of 30 minutes door to door (that is leaving home for the vaccine centre, jabbed, obligitory wait and back home in the door all in half an hour!)

Covid jab No4 now done and really felt this one today and had an aching arm more or less straight away, then like a burning sensation. Even Mrs P, who has had no after affects from any of the previous jabs says her arm feels heavy and felt the needle today. Didn't bother with the Flu jab again.

Covid finally caught up with us. Wife tested positive today while I’m testing negative. We both feel really rough but we hope it won’t get much worth. I expect the jabs we’ve both had are reducing the symptoms and illness .

We both had a double jab 23 Sept - our 4th Covid and a cocktail I believe. We both had a slightly sore arm
Then the Mrs got Covid a week later, with me catching it 2 days after her. I had Covid and testing positive for about 2 weeks. (clear about 5 weeks ago) Now really quite tired most of the time - guess its going to take a wee bit of time to get back to better fitness. taking co-codamol 2-3 times a day for aches and pains. What would it have been like without the boosters??
