Covid finally caught up with us. Wife tested positive today while I’m testing negative. We both feel really rough but we hope it won’t get much worth. I expect the jabs we’ve both had are reducing the symptoms and illness . It would seem that people who have had their full compliment of jabs don't seem to suffer too badly when they do get it Charlie. I got it in August. Felt as though I'd been run over by a bus on day one, not much better on day two but considerably better ( almost back to normal ) on day three. Good luck to you both. |

Think the bottom line is …the vaccine stops you getting covid as bad so you’re not hospitalised ….fingers cross for you guys 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Rest up, keep warm, drink plenty of water and take paracetemol if necessary - unless allergic.

Sorry to hear that Charlie. I think I have had it twice, once at the beginning when there were no jabs and I was rough with that, and then 12 months ago after having had two jabs. I felt just like the first time but only 20% of the feeling rough, so I suspect the jab was doing it's job. I never tested positive the second time, but three days after I got it, so did Mrs K, and she did test positive, but again, just a few mild symptoms. Hope you both feel better soon

Feeling for you both Charlie here's to making a speedy recovery for you both :yes: It seems to be doing it's rounds again now, my mates just messaged me saying he's got it now and both his elderly parents. They have had the full compliment of boosters but my mate is one who doesn't believe in the jabs  |

Had third booster today (Pfizer),so far so good, and yes Charlie I do have a slightly sore arm💪💉

I'm fully jabbed (3) but got the dreaded virus the week before Christmas, was really rough for 4 days and then tested negative which meant we could go out for Christmas day lunch, thankfully. We have both had it over the last two years at Christmas which gubbered everything up. Still got a bit of a dodgy chest but that real rough feeling lasted 4 days in total

Think I have had 4 jabs. My wife was bad 2 weeks ago and Monday I started feeling a bit off especially at night. Did a test this afternoon and was positive!
