Well , I tried but the joint between my karcher and the new snow foam nozzle , leaks like a sieve so it needs returning 😕 It plugs in , turns and locks ok... but water pours out. It looks like a problem with the "O" ring that makes the seal Jamie. Is the section that hold the "O" ring the same diameter as the socket into which it fits? This may be the bit that has changed in the later model Karchers

Jamie I think I have a Karcher fitting for the Lance that I can post too you if you need it.
When you change the fittings though you will need to use PTFE tape or they can weep.. But then you’ll know that 👍👍👍

Ok folks. Hope your Xmas day was as enjoyable as it could be 🥂 My car is only Autoglymed with super resin polish , 3 times this year. It's washed with rain water , Turtle wax and a noodle mitt. It washes easily , soap runs off fairly well. So , I've got my snowfoam gun , Autoglym polar blast foam too ( see how that goes , may have to buy better ) I'm tempted to try today ( dry but overcast ) As we're Tier 4 , can't go anywhere - so the car will sit on the lawn for a few days... To be fair ,front lawn is half grass & a little mud now... due to my car... oops. Trying it today, just to see it working - get the worst off. So.... Apply to the dirty but dry car ? Wait 15mins ish.. Then power wash down... and towel dry. Autonglym SRP is a very low cut polish it’s not a wax or sealent therefore it gives zero protection to your paint, Turtle wax wash/wax is ok as a wash solution but it won’t put any wax on it’s far to weak to do that 👍👍 when using the no touch washing regime you never use a drying towel. You should put two inches of foam and a wee squeeze of shampoo in your Lance bottle top up with water and spray your car. Leave for ten minutes them power wash off. You may well find it lacking though as this technique is best when a cars been waxed. The muck and crap sticks like hell to an un waxed or un sealed finish. Even if you have waxed your SRP will have removed it. SRP is a better paint cleanser than it is a polish. It’s cut level is minimal.

But then you’ll know that 👍👍👍 Yeah, mine doesn't leak. No sending it back, no PTFE tape. Just plug and play. Suddenly...a whole lot cheaper...and red, which is nice

Below is a photo of all the lances I have, the middle one is what it came with. The plain metal one is the right angle one for under the car. These both fit perfectly, no troubles and work fine. Even comparing end to end , they're the same. Charlie,.... erm - please - if you don't mind 👍

Tbh... I can't see any O ring seals , either in the socket of the lance. Or on any of the fitments.
But... two of them hold water, the snowfoam one doesn't.

Jamie......Karcher changed the K series locklugs when they brought out your variable pressure machine. The snowfoam bottle fitment is entirely different as you can see in your phoateez. The lugs do not have that rounded radius at one side. This partly to force you down road of OEM bits only, for which their snowfoam bottles are utter pish.

Hi kev, they still lock together ok... solid , no different to the other bits. But they just pour out from the circled joints. I'll see what Charlie finds , or I'll have to buy a karcher one.🙄

Strange, the circled fitments are identical and the metal one works fine for under the car. Sorry if the photos are too big if you're reading David ( Hoovie) Feel free to adjust them 👍

Sorry if the photos are too big if you're reading David ( Hoovie) Feel free to adjust them 👍 It might be that the picture is distortung, but from the picture it seem that the end of the foam bit is not perpendicular to the pipe, as oppose to the top one where it looks fine. Just an observation.

Ahhh , I see now - they look the same from the outside. But inside !.... the snowfoam one , the O ring has split !! Annoying. Seeing that the bit inside the variable lance is gently tapered to suit the O ring - I very much doubt I could I split it. That's why it's leaking , time to email Amazon.

Can you simply replace the O ring? Of course Amazon should resolve the problem but it's always useful to have a short-cut / fall back ...
