Yeah, the foam is a complete barsteward to shift afterwards. I spend longer flushing it away into the drain than I do cleaning the car!!

If yer foam is laying on the floor for ages yer mixing it too strong 👍 Funnily enough, Charlie, I think mine mibeez a wee bit weak as now at about 15/1, but see in the damp heilan’ climate......it can last twa days on the grun, ken....? Getting away with such a weak mixture due to very soft watter, but Kranzl gun seems to use MORE from the bottle, but much less actual raw product if ye get ma (snow)drift, but gives a superior foam coating.

Getting away with such a weak mixture due to very soft watter, but Kranzl gun seems to use MORE from the bottle, but much less actual raw product if ye get ma (snow)drift, but gives a superior foam coating. Several things affect the consistency of yer foam. Yer gun fer a start. The pressure yer gun chucks out but most importantly the mix... Big point here is not all snow foams are equal. Yes there is the rule of thumb that we start at being 2 inches in the bottle. But some products need more some much less. Bilt Hamber frinstance is weak so more is needed. AD Magifoam is strong so less is needed. Either way your foam should not be thick nor should it stick on the grun for long. If it is or does your wasting product and stripping wax... Kev your using a Kranzle lance yes? Or do you have a Kranzle power washer ?

Any things to be aware of please.... 👍 I bought this SNOW FOAM LANCE & MAGIFOAM KIT when the topic was mooted a few years ago - you need to order it with the fitting for your "karcher k4 full control". After that its all relatively idiot proof ... put an inch or two (that 30mm - 50mm) of concentrate in the bottom of the bottle and top up with water. You can also add a capful of shampoo / wash'n'wax at the same time if you wish. Attach to your pressure washer and foam away. I reduce the concentration until it's a bit too wet, that increase the concentration again until the foam 'dwells' as it should (but isn't too strong) ... but beyond that it's really up to you.

In addition, always run some WATTER ONLY (i.e. remove snowfoam bottle) regularly through yer gun or the wee Brillo Pad bit get gummed up. Don’t buy 1 litre bottles either......Philip correct with Magifoam, but go straight for five litres. Watch what you pay for that wee gun......CF taught me years ago they ALL come from same factory in That China, but prices vary drama tickly.

Different brands / models of pressure washer have different connector fitting so you need to choose the correct one ... They offer two for Karcher - HDS Karcher and Karcher K Series ... if you don't pick the right one, it won't fit! It's just plumbing really ...

I tend to spray the lower third with TFR then snow foam it. The snow foam keeps the TFR moist. I occasionally get some on the ground but it doesn’t bother me.
