As well as the races, been watching the qualifiying and the practice sessions, and I reckon there will be a rule change before the summer break! Seeing the cars bouncing/porpoising so much, I am not sure that can be allowed to continue in such a way - you are seeing cars losing it at various points and going off track without warning. That is just an big accident waiting to happen and on the right (wrong!) track, that could be very serious. Then you have two other aspects - that kind of bouncing is going to cause suspension failure I think, similar to when a tyre is flat-spotted and causes vibrations? Anyone recall Kimi R's Lotus suspension exploding when he carried out with flat-spotted tyres because the race was so close to the finish so he didn't pit? To me, this bouncing is a bit like what you saw on that incident, but from lap 1. And then you have the effect on the driver - surely that bouncing cannot be healthy on the spine??
Of course there is the "racing is dangerous is written on the back of the ticket" aspect, but it shouldn't be part of the deliberate design to be dangerous!

Guess if the drivers and teams all got together and said porpoising is dangerous, then the FIA would have to do something about the regulations, yet I can’t see Ferrari complaining at the moment 😉

Not all the cars are porpoising though are they ? I think it’s a refreshing change to see different cars up front long may it last . 👍👍👍

My comment was nothing to do with any specific team, but regarding the consequences of a rule change that could have very dire results on some circuits (I am thinking Baku especially).

It must be horrible to drive, even if you are at the front.

The steering wheel was bobbing up and down at the same speed as the bouncing. Looked very unpleasant.

I don't know how they manage to see with that level of vibration. For me, it's an accident waiting to happen.

Sorry that didnt answer my question about why the highlights dont apear to be available on c4 replay, it also told me who won the race, information i have been trying to avoid. Not only that it is detecting I am in France and wants me to sign up to pay to get any replays.

Thanks for that, i guess it makes some sense, i suspect the restriction is to allow all countries to be able to show either the full or highlighted race on normal freeview scheduling before it becomes available on any freeview replay, or force the more impatient people to cough up for pay for view which is the more likely scenario.

No problem i often unwittingly spot the result before i get a chance to see the race.
