i cant start my 2007 T180 its on a push button start , its always started first time but this morning it just wont fire up , plenty of power in the battery and its turning over and theres plenty of fuel in it but it just keeps trying until i take my foot of the clutch as i am worried i might be doing some damage if i just let it keep trying , any help or advice would be most appreciated
yes i have tried pushing that black stopper quite a few times to no avail just tried it again and i get one push until it feels hard ,thanks for your help
i dissconected the pipes leading to and from the filter and pressed the ignition button on, no sign of any diesel on both occasions dont know if this is a pointer to the fuel pump not working
no i havnt checked it . not sure how to to be honest ,i have now taken it to a local garage they seem to think its an imobalizer problem .they wanted my spare fob as they wanted to try that but that didnt solve the problem ,so waiting to hear from them tomorrow
had the car checked out by an auto electrician and he says the immobolizer is ok. what i have noticed is the black plunger on top of the filter is musch easier to push and doesnt harden up as it did before ,but it still doesnt start
on the diagram for the fuel pump relay above mine is different R5 & R6 are not in that position and i cant find where they are , any help would be most appreciated
If it were me, I'd stop looking for a fuel pump relay. The fuel pump is driven off the engine. The electrical connections associated with the pump are the suction control valve drive and fuel temperature sensor. There is no power supply (relay).
