So, (m)BH has decided that she wants another Shogun; that means that the RAV will have to go. If any esteemed member on R4DC is interested in acquiring this well-looked after little SUV I will give them first dibs before advertising or trading it. If it isn't the lowest mileage 4.2 available, it must be pretty close!
Current mileage is 43,200. 2 owners. Leather interior. FSH, last service and MoT at Mr.T local in November, 2020. New Avon RX7 tyres fitted last October at 41,900 miles. OEM cruise control, power socket in boot. OEM mud flaps. Thule Wing Bar Edge roof bars. Chrome tail light surrounds. Brushed aluminium bee-sting aerial. NightBreaker Laser headlamp bulbs.
If anyone is interested please PM me.

Cracking car. If I could get more than a balloon and whistle for my car, I'd have this car, as I would like to downsize whilst sticking with the RAV4.
Good luck, some lucky sod is going to get a very nice we'll looked after Rav.

That’s sad one of the black 3 door musketeers is selling on 😕😉 True, Bob, but it's Sue's car and she has seen a white Shogun with low miles and still 2 years of MMC warranty left. It's in Big Kev's neck of the woods so a road trip is planned for later this week to have a look. It's tempting to hang onto the RAV but it just wouldn't be used and the Saab is still my toy.

Stunning car Jim... Good luck with it.
I do like those Shoguns... The 3 door version is a cracking looking car and with that 3.2 engine is a proper bit of kit 👍👍

Be warned, Jamesy.....police are regularly stopping, fining, and turning back travelling peeps up here, and that includes us with English reg. plates. Where abouts in my neck is said vehicle.....?

Would it make life easer just to p/x the RAV4 in for the Mitsubishi....if you don’t mind taking a hit on the trade price ?

Well, having chatted to the dealer, a guy who drives to Glasgae and back regularly and consulting the Scottish govt covid website a few things are clear: 1. Non-essential journeys are not allowed. 2. Dealers are allowed to offer test drives, appointments to view & click and collect. 3. Our travelling friend has never seen a cop let alone been stopped by one.
So presumably driving to a dealer appointment or to collect a car is essential? Otherwise how the hell are you expected to get there. And if it's non-essential why aren't the dealers closed? The website covers everything except car dealer issues;rather surprising given the size and importance to the economy of that sector.
Anyway it ain't clear at all and my brain hurts trying to glean some logic out of it. So, f**k it, we're going tomorrow and if plod turns us around, so be it. 😀
