Unusually coloured RAV HERE Spotted that yesterday..very checkered mot history and more recently "corrosion to suspension"🤔 Never seen such a long description for an old car 😁 although they should of added..due to loud colour suggest only going out at night !

Yes, lovely car, one owner and the price isn’t silly. MoT history shows no major issues but lots of daft tyre, wiper and headlight aiming fails. Sort of makes me wonder if the owner kept on top of the servicing properly; those failures would have been spotted by any competent garage beforehand. Nevertheless nothing to put you off the car; someone will get a really nice RAV. And Dacuma Grey is one of the best colours. 👍

Ooooh..missed the yellow car price. I've insured mine for £4500, but will review that soon. Looked at options for engine - fast road cam and better exhaust manifold seems to be the only options. I'll post up a techie question in a new post. The car has now had a bit of respay work.. - the nearside front wing, door, - drivers door - rear nearside quarter bumper - Front narrow panel below grill - front bumper
New Pioneer radio Android header unit fitted Of course the new wheels and all weatger tyres...but some wee shit nicked the chrome valve caps 2 days ago so new ones ordered. New wiper blades
Had new rear brake discs and pads fitted. Serviced too at the time of the MOT just after I bought it.

Another very nice 3 door HERE at JRS again. Eye watering price but getting rare now, especially with that low mileage ….I’m sure it will be sold in no time 👍🏻

Blimey. Need to increase the value of mine. Just received the underbody pictures of mine before blasting it clean; and then after rust proof treatment applied. For a 2002 model, the underside is remarkably clean with barely no surface rust. The dinitrol treatment follows when things are dry. The garage just sent me pics of the petrol filler pipe after removing the plastic shroud - spotless. No rust, no muck !!

Another very nice 3 door HERE at JRS again. I am unable to view that as I get "access denied" I will now try via a VPN which says that I am in the Netherlands.
That VPN worked, I am always a tad thoughtful about such a low mileage vehicle over a very long period. I wonder
what problems might arise as its not being used. Also £10,000 for a non supercar 17 year old vehicle is not for me
but I know lots of people won't care.

I suppose it really depends how often the car has been used Jeff. it's like Mrs P now we only use our Rav at weekends now when we have to so the Rav covered less than 2k miles last year, take that over it's age and it's 36k miles, so that Rav would or could be the same. Plus our very own Firemac did buy one from JRS with 30 odd thousand miles on the clock and his was fine :TU: It won't be a supercar as such but they are very sort after and getting rarer to find good low mileage well looked after ones and no doubt it will sell soon
