Have I read that right as a new customer ? "New customers: Sky Signature required, 18-month minimum term." 🤔🤔

Have I read that right as a new customer ? "New customers: Sky Signature required, 18-month minimum term." 🤔🤔 Sky Sports and Sky Cinema are add-ons to a Sky Subscription. SO if you don't have a basic Sky TV Sub (Sky Signature now, was Sky Essentials until a few months ago) then you can't get Sky Sports and NOW TV is your only route. Have you a Sky Box and Dish anyway if you don;t have Sky TV?

I took out the £10 Sky subscription for the F1 channel in time for the expected start of the season and when this all went wrong , looked into freezing my subscription as Sky were offering this with the Sports package at the time but the F1 channel was for some reason excluded... I decided to let it run , thinking I'd not be able to resume my subscription for the offer price of £10 per month..now I hear it's still available..🙄🙄 I would try giving Sky a call and say that you have been paying and not getting anything provided. As they allowed suspension of the others, then they may well give you some kind of compensation or deal? I cancelled my Sky Sports (had a special £15 for all of them) a few days before they announced the option to suspend, so lost that deal. Didn't expect the £10 offer to come back so bit surprised - and pleased it was in the time scsle I could still switch from the £20 Sports Deal!

Never had a need for Sky with the limited time I get to watch anything, will see what channel 4 have to offer this year and if all up and running next year, will get Now TV again .

If you don't have sky, then you can't get a sky offer Channel 4 are showing highlights. I don't think they have any live races. Another option you could look at is to see what F1.com are doing? Some countries you can watch live on-line via F1.com. Previously the deal with Sky means that was not an option in the UK, but might be something of interest suitable?

I looked at this last year and I found if you used a VPN you could get further into the process but to complete it you had to pay with a card that was registered in the country you were claiming to be in. So if you know someone in the right place I think the deal in the UK included Highlights as well as other things so even though no Live races, might still be better than C4 Highlights (especially if still presented by the same idiot)

I always thought the deal was highlights for freeviw tv except the national gp, ie Channel 4 were allowed to show the British gp live, but what happens if they run more than one gp at Silverstone this year?

But I know what you mean by the idiot on C4. Building on the idea, it sounds like a business opportunity for our good friend Widge - to set-up a server in la belle France to relay the service to us poor deprived Brits ... a bit like pirate radio!

Not sure how legal it would be, but you could probably use a VPN to watch F1.com in another country.

Interesting point. I bet it will be the British GP only covered live, rather than the "Formula 1 70th Anniversary Grand Prix" held a week later at Silverstone.
