Not sure how this year is going to pan out with Coronavirus , for me the Now TV pass to watch it has just become available but could be poor value for money if half the events are cancelled.

Re subscribed to Sky F1 last night for a tenner a month..worth the gamble at that price. interesting I cancelled my Sky Sports yesterday (was paying £15) and asked the chap if there was a cheaper way to be able to just get Sky Sports F1... He just quoted the standard £18/month. Got the sports until the 5th April (Vietnam GP) anyway, so will look to see what offers are on after that.

It must have been released after I spoke to the guy. There was a strange offer on sky.com yesterday as well .... Sky Sports full package reduced from £28 to £2 ! When I clicked on it though it didn't work; and today the offer is £25. Sky Cinema was £8 yesterday and today was £15 or £18 (can't remember which). I'll be keeping an eye on the F1 offer for next month UPDATE: www.sky.com/shop/tv/sports/f1/?irct=ShopSports-Default-nav-f1offer is live until 26th March. I will have sports until 5th April. I wonder if that means I can't get the offer as I have the package still live at that time?

I was on the way to a village meeting last night about the local council elections, and a friend met me and went to do the greeting kisses as traditional with friends here in France and I politely refused, she said oh you have got a cold? I said no I am avoiding doing it while we have the situation with the Coronavirus, she was a little upset and said you're being silly, it is no where near here. we got to the hall before I could point out that in the last week I had been in contact with people who had traveled via several international airports in the States Paris and Montpellier, each of those places have cases of coronavirus and that is just the people that I know about.
I am not panicking by any means, but hopefully by taking rudimentary precautions we can avoid exposing ourselves to unnecessary risks, if you are young and relatively fit catching it should not be a problem but when you are older or have various other problems like my wife it can be a lot more serious.
At least some of the airlines are being sensible and waving any charges for changing your ticket if you decide not to travel at the moment.

So many people seem to confuse taking sensible precautions (such as avoiding unneeded body contact like kissing friends and shaking hands) with being paranoid. I don't go to a lot of places where there are loads of crowds anyway, but I usually go to a few VW Festivals each year with a trade stand. This year I have not yet booked any and will wait and see what happens. I have a feeling a large number of these kind of events will either end up being cancelled, or will be very quiet (which will mean a trade stand would do very little business probably anyway )

I actually think that a lot of ordinary fans like myself lost a lot of respect for the FIA years ago. Some thought FIA meant "Ferrari's International Assistance" or very similar.

Ferrari and Pirelli tyres have been given the okay to leave the quarantine zone in Italy, so all the teams in Australia will have some tyres to run on now 👍🏻

The problem is the horse has already bolted, all aircraft should have been grounded for a month, but that was never going to happen.
