Think formula One needs to get a grip on themselves if they feel they are more important over the Coronavirus safety of people, wanting Government exemptions so they can race at Silverstone 🤔..easy answer get there two weeks in advance 👍🏻👍🏻

Talking safety ... if someone comes into the country having had a test for Coronavirus carried out and showing negative, and they are in their own transport and dedicated accomodation when away from the track, isolated from everyone except for other people in F1 in the same position for the entire time, how is that a risk for anyone? I think reality needs to kick in on more than one very narrow level otherwise might as well have every individual lock themselves in their house for the next 18 months until some vaccine is available.

The question is can we trust the F1 teams to be more security and safety conscious regarding Covid19 than Joe public. www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-52754039I think it is a no brainer!

I would have thought the link to the packed beach at Southend woulh have shown tgat i was being rhetorical. I gather that the beaches in the north of France have also been very busy, near where we are, some beaches are open, but only for walking, you are not allowed to stop and sit or swim, some beaches have been marked out with personal plots and are using an online app so you can book them for the day, therefore restricting the numbers of people on the beach that way.

Sad day it was only a matter of time I've thought it for a while now, www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/52847040 although Claire comes over as a very competent woman she just doesn't seem to cement the team like her father did, such a big shame. I think there must be some internal family politics going on as well, on the documentary a while ago her brother said he'd been banished to the museum & it didn't sound like it was a decision he supported.

Difficult to say if it’s been bad management over the last few years 🤔

Never rated Ms Williams as the Principal To be perfectly honest. Don't think she had the killer instinct needed. Frank was a good one in many ways but I found it strange the way he treated his drivers. Williams probably had the greatest number of World Champions leave the team immediately after winning the WDC.
My lasting memory of Williams is going to Grove and seeing buckets around the office desks catching water leaking through the roof! The museum was very interesting though and worth a visit.

I don't think Claire Williams was ever going to be the answer either tbh.
Lovely stories Kubica coming back after his injury and father passing business on to daughter but neither has made the cars go any quicker, and that's what matters.
Add in the Paddy Lowe debacle and its fairly clear there was zero team, just loads of individuals. None of which were a leader, like, perhaps...Sir Frank.

Pretty much sums it up, she was racing in a bygone age not the modern era, I do hope some new manufacturer picks them up, Kia, Hyundia or even BMW coming back in.
Is Christian Horners dad Dave Richards still sat on the touchlines waiting to buy a team?

There is a good infrastructure there (assuming they fixed the roof by now? ) and I wonder if Honda or Toyota fancy another try? Honda might have an agreement with Red Bull about not having a Honda factory team though? Could be good for Toyota though? They were reasonable enough last time round but having their setup in Cologne never really made a lot of sense, so getting a team base in the Formula 1 epicentre would work a lot better I think.

I'll be signing up for the Sky Sports package I think come July. Will end up being better value with a much compressed season (looking on a bright side!)

I subscribed to the full Sky Sports package last week (£20 a month) as I don't really like NOW TV for Sports as you can only watch live and no recording or catchup option either I think. Using YouTube today got 4 adverts for Sky Sports F1 for £10 a month! Typical after just signed up for the full thing (but only really to get the F1 channel). But a call to Sky fixed it Cancelled Sky Sports and transferred to Sports F1 for the £10 deal. Also cancelled a Sky Mobile SIM (saving £6 a month) and the chap offered a 25% discount on the other two SIMs I was keeping, which was handy (so one SIM is £3.75 a month for Unlimited calls and texts and 1GB of data, and the other is £4.50 for the same deal - pretty good I think?)

I took out the £10 Sky subscription for the F1 channel in time for the expected start of the season and when this all went wrong , looked into freezing my subscription as Sky were offering this with the Sports package at the time but the F1 channel was for some reason excluded... I decided to let it run , thinking I'd not be able to resume my subscription for the offer price of £10 per month..now I hear it's still available..🙄🙄
