Hi all
I know it's been covered several times here over the years.
But I seem to remember Charlie mentioning it can be improved with adjustment ?
I do take that gear change slower , and clutch dipped all the way.
But if it was adjusted it would be better or easier.

It might but unless you get somebody with a lot of patience, they can make a bigger mess of it.

Ash you often visit Birmingham.... When you are down you could venture down the road a bit (30 miles) and vist DNA Automotive. They really do know these cars intimately having changed numerous engines when the guys worked at a Toyota main dealers. I could meet you there and take you for a bite and coffee while your car is sorted no bother at all.
In short cable adjustment helps as does changing the oils in the gearbox and transfer box.

If I remember in time to come , next time I plan a trip up that way.
I'll reserve a day for it.
But for the time being I'll get the oils changed 👍
