Think it was inevitable Maclaren are not going to be back next year (unfortunately) so he had to think of an alternative, I think he's great but the teams seem to have other views & none of the top teams were offering seats so presumably they had reservations about him. Now that Sainz has fallen out with Red Bull & Renault have filled his seat, will he replace Alonso?
