I have a feeling that Alonso won't be racing in F1 next year, I don't think they will convince him he will have a winning car. He's getting too old to take another risk that the car will perform. That then leaves McLaren with a problem, can they convince Ricciardo they can beat Red Bull, that he is better being a No1 at Mclaren or a No2 at Red Bull but in a faster car with more chance of winning.

Yes but I am surprised Daniel has gone to Renault. There could be some interesting changes next year but I doubt I will see the races if the TV is all pay to view!

They have already said they want to build the team around Max so he logically had to leave but is Renault the right place to go? Shame about Saibz though

Reading the F1 news ...Ricciardo has signed up to Renault so that’s him teamed up with Hulkenberg, Sainz is out the door...He can’t go back to the team he was on loan from (Toro Rosso) as they have a driver lineup for 2018, he will not be welcome at RedBull as he didn’t get on with Verstappen when they both raced with Toro Rosso, gossip is he will team up with Alonso at McLaren 👍🏻 I know Alonso is a racer and still wants to win but with the pay cheque he’s currently getting should he worry 🤔🤔...in the same breath.. I can see the pull of him doing oval track racing in the States as they made him very welcome last summer..time will tell .
