Rav4.2 petrol The water temperature gauge always read low.  What's the likely cause? Thermostat/sender/gauge? |

The 2001 vvti I got recently runs the water temp below halfway...not as low as yours shows.
I learnt that turning the heater on a RAV now and again full blast will double check there is enough water in the system

Yeah, plenty of water in there. Cabin gets lovely and warm.

Replacing the sender and thermostat would be a cheap option...maybe sender first 👍🏻
