Is nice to drive the CX5. Coincidentally the misses' 2.2 made 181bhp after its remap??!! Bit more of a torque gain though.

Looks as if it was made from the box it came in.

What's the Alternative.... Mitsubishi Eclipse cross 4wd. Quite a lot cheaper and is still loaded with tech.
5 yr warranty, 4wd on the 3 model or higher. Auto cvt gearbox, smooth as.
Flappy paddle gears if needed.
Very light power steering.
Only downside is it's not hybrid , it's got enough power for me.
Apple car play and Android auto , just plug in your smart phone.
4wd is 80% front / 20% rear in auto mode. Or 60/40 in snow / gravel mode.
The design isn't everyone's taste , especially with the rear lights through the rear window - up high. But these are more visible to people several cars behind you... all good.
But , it does stand out - looks different which is why I like it.
And good ground clearance too 8".
Suits me and my needs.👍

Never ever thought it was possible to make a car uglier than the old Juke.... That is just vile.

The mk2 Evoque. Just saw the new pictures of it today. Dear Santa, in that nice blue colour, with a black roof. Sure i've been good(ish) this year!! My daughter has just taken delivery of the new Evoque Dynamic R. She was waiting for a Velar but they are in short supply. New Evoque gets the styling from the Velar right down to the flush door handles. Old Evoque was on 80K miles and never missed a beat.

We're loving our Evoque - had to do a couple of little fixes (one rattle from a door card to tackle this weekend left) - carried over from the previous owner, but well and truly into everyday service now. Our's will be 6 years old in April, so not a new car, be interesting to see how it goes.
Discussion at home right now is do we sell or keep the CX-5?? Its been relegated!!

New Ford Bronco looks a bit of a bruiser ..... Andrew English road-tested it in the Telegraph this week and it seems okay except that it will come in petrol only - no diesel and no hybrid. And it will be US-only.
It will need to be better than the original to compete effectively with stuff already on the market; the first Bronco was a pile of excrement! I can't help thinking that, given that Ford already have quite a comprehensive range of SUVs in the US particularly, they are simply going for some marginal revenue by trading on the Bronco name.

Joining up with Regie is the kiss of death. Look what it did to Nissan's previous gold-plated reputation for quality. Now the French have eliminated a competitor from the European market .
