My exhaust heat shield came off recently, managed to repair it with repair washers and forced some small nuts onto the studs, a new heatshield from toyota is roughly £100, have since found several repair kits which consist of 5 circles of the same matching aluminium with a small hole in the centre and star washers, not done a link as they vary so much in price from £8 on ebay to £17-50 elsewhere but just Google, heat shield repair kit😉stew

I really must pull my finger out Re that brake pipe . Kingo kindly sent me a diagram of every replacement part so I must sort out what I need before he retires 🤪🤪 Stew I’ve cut repair patches from pieces of scrap aluminium which make a far stronger job that the original ever was . Costs me nothing and I have the pleasure of knowing it’s a job well done and sorted 🤙🤙🤙 |
