www.mgcyberster.co.uk/I probably won't go down this particular route because my days of jumping into a sports car are behind me - actually they just passed me by completely - and where I live I need a little more ground clearance and suspension travel, but I do rather fancy one ...

Isn't it Chinese though 🤔?? Very - Chinese to the core. While I appreciate that many have 'issues' with China and "made in China", I've a feeling that China may well be the new Japan. I'd much rather buy a car like that from the Morris Group, but we blew that one quite a while back ...

Isn't it Chinese though 🤔?? I phones and quite a bit of Stihl are made in China mate. The IPad I’m using this minute came from the PRC ….. It would make me wary but it wouldn’t put me off even though I’m not keen on how that country operates, Chap I was marshalling with last weekend has a Ssanyong large pick up and to be fair it’s a belter. Not sure of some of the styling but what a cracking truck for the money,… I bet the Chinese put together a better car than MG ever did I mean they were truly woeful 👍👍

But Korean or Chinese niether are what I would usually look at. That said there’s nothing wrong with a Kia….Wouldn’t be my first choice but they are reputed to be very good. 👍

I wonder how many of us would have shown enthusiasm for this car if it was a Toyota ?? I would. Which shows what a badge snob I am 🤪🤪

Which shows what a badge snob I am 🤪🤪 I know what you mean, but I don't think that it is badge snobbery per se. The badge says MG and I'd rather have an MG badge than a Toyota badge if I had the choice - I'd just be happier if it was built in a Toyota factory in Japan (because in that we trust).

Indeed we trust. And that’s what makes changing to another brand so difficult….
