Oh, for anyone interested Mrs clarki finally got her Mini a couple of weeks back,
It’s what she really wanted last time but was just a bit out of reach for us financially at the time. The Polo was a great stopgap and held its money superbly so we managed to get a deal done this time. We’ll see how it goes 🤞

Nice car !! My wife used to be into Minis but im going back to when they first came out. 22 Years since she had her Cooper S which were extremely difficult to find.   |

Those early Minis are quite valuable now. 😊 That surprises me to be fair. The early ones were pretty crap. We only got the red one because we rejected the silver one on account it kept breaking down. So rather than give a full refund we were offered a deal we couldn’t refuse on the red one. Both cars were new and both were nothing but pain and suffering. We ended up doing well though because the red S was a very sought after car so selling it at premium money was easy….. As the years have ticked by the quality of Minis has improved way beyond those early cars. So I’m genuinely surprised they are popular 👍👍 |

The new one has a bit too many “bits” for me, but it’s what she’s always wanted so fair play to her for making it happen. |
