Hi, I have a problem with interior lights - the light stays on (in door mode) after all doors are closed. The light on the dashboard works properly (open door does not light up).
My diagnostic shows right status for all doors open/closed and i can shut off and on interior lights from it
I have tried replacing the door switches, measure them, replacing relay for interior lights, check int lights switches, measure them and so on ... but the problem still here. Has anyone encountered this, what should I look for?

Have you tried to change the settings? You can control from there (main console) the length of time the light is on. Note that oy when you lock the car the light will go off.

Yes i tried but only with diagnostic - it was set to 15s and i set to 7.5s when i testing it .. but how I can set this on "main console"? Its my 2013 and there is only simple display on dasboard and simple screen radio without any car setting ... |

In the customisation section it shows:  which suggests that you can change the setting via the Navigation System screen or have the dealer change it for you.  |

okay thats what i did with diagnostic (i changed it to fastest 7.5s for test purposes) ... but lights are still on forever
I visited dealer with this but after like half day work (sadly they tried same things as I did) they told me to change main ECU but they can't guarantee if its help .. so it could be $550 test :/

Has the actual light unit and associated wiring been fully checked for shorting out?

Has the actual light unit and associated wiring been fully checked for shorting out? what do you mean by light unit? i think that int lights are controlled by main body ECU right? as there is no timer or dimmer in light dome I assume that the ECU sends a signal to the relay for the interior lights and they go off immediately (I've never seen it work) yes, I checked it myself (but I am not a professional electrician) then I took the car to a professional electrician and finally to the dealer thanks to all for these tips anyway  |

Yes the dome light unit.
This is the one over the passenger compartment yes?
Has it been removed and checked internally? They are generally simple affairs but something could amiss with it.

They are generally simple affairs but something could amiss with it. yes dome light has been visualy and physically checked - it's quite a massive system of connections, which can be seen nicely even with the switch (OFF/DOOR/ON) " This is the one over the passenger compartment yes?" do you mean by that cut off relay for int lights? I think that this one should be over the main body ECU / driver side on the left under steering wheel as this one is "clicking" when i try to turn OFF/ON lights (this one been checked and swapped) ad: we are talking about LHD car ok? |

This one: ok ok you mean that passenger dome light, yes its been checked too i even try to unplug it, remove bulbs and try only from light dome but no luck (both must stay on OFF now) |

So all the switches on both dome lights have been removed and checked with a test meter for correct operation? yes yes, passenger was a kind of hell as there is that ribbon cable but both working okay but I still think if I unplug the passenger light dome, it means like it's off, right? (I think in that case if I measured the ribbon cable connector wrong but I think it definitely works ok) |
