Hi all
Looking at changing my alloys. - 2008 Rav 4 2.2D
I want to get some 18 x 8.5 inch and fit 255 / 60 / R18 all terrain tyres
Anyone done anything similar / know whether I will have all - round clearance?
Thanks
Jon

What do you have on the car today? The standard 18" wheels would be 18x7.5J shod with 235/55 R18s ... (and they fit just fine )

I have 245/45x18 tyres fitted to alloys. The speedo is out by about 10%..ie 40mph showing is nearer 35 I kept the steel 17" wheels...perhaps for off road tyres, but I have all weather fitted just now, and having had some body panels resprayed after buying it 4 months ago, would be a bit daft green-laning it! What I need is a lottery win sufficient to buy Big Kevs 2006 RAV,

I was looking at 255/60/18.
With your setup, is there much room between tyre and bodywork?
