The aging RAV is showing its years! The previous fault of ABS and Brake lights was traced to a problem in the relay and fuse box. Once fixed, and soon after the motor cut out completely but could be restarted after a minute or so. Back to the garage and "Juan" the owner has done another fix on it and it now runs ok, but for how long? He says the fuse and relay box needs to be replaced and here in Spain the part is only available from Toyota and they will not supply to third party garages. So Having rambled on, does anyone know if there are any reconditioned units for sale in the UK that I can bring back and have fitted locally.

For a new one, Parts King (Kingo) could maybe help. Looks like a few on ebay etc secondhand. If you see one, happpy to get it and pack it for Spain.....shame as a few friends are in Spain just now on holiday!

I can only think corrosion or it has a melted area ? or maybe he’s fixed it for good this time 🤔 I would take a punt on one of eBay , as said loads to choose from 👍🏻 |
