Lovely car. Someone will be pleased to get that. Presumably you’ll MoT it upon sale? As a matter of interest, did you try any of the buyer sites like WBAC.com or Autotrader’s own buying site before you listed? Depending upon their offer they can be a lot simpler than dealing with the tyre kickers that you’ll no doubt get a few of. Good luck with the sale.

Yes, shocking prices offered on WBAC and Autotrader.
I'm in ABSOLUTELY no rush to sell, so, for now I'm happy to put up with a few tyre kickers.
It's getting a new MOT on Friday, so I'll update the advert now.. cheers

Surely worth more !! Your description isn’t making the best of the car !!
How about.
2011 Toyota RAV4 SR. The SR was the flagship of the range and features a fully automatic AWD system complied to an effortless automatic gearbox.
Stunning pearlescent white paintwork complimtef by hall leather/Alcantara electric and heated seats.
You could add in things like TPMS and dual zone climate control and mention the miles are mostly motorway….Plus it’s been fully serviced etc etc,
Of course the mileage is high but blimey most cars for sale these days have high miles and people don’t seem to care …..
Let’s be fair 6K buys junk these days. Someone who wants an AWD vehicle in tidy nick and Toyota build quality is going to pay more than 6K …..

Not entirely disagreeing Jim but I sold my wee VW GTI for 1500 more than WBAC or Motorway offered just a few weeks back. It’s a dead cert that whatever those companies will pay is approximately bottom book. Yes of course we get clowns but I don’t worry about them because I get what I want or they don’t get the car…. I’ve never been one for trading in my cars or selling cheap to companies who are without doubt going to make a big profit….. But I can understand why some don’t want too.

I only mentioned the car buying sites because, despite previous poor experiences, I’ve had good experiences of them recently. I sold our Saab convertible through Autotrader and got an excellent price, no hassle, no nit-picking over small issues and paid same day. Our Trainee Son-in-law sold his Disco Sport with WBAC and made £4K over his hp settlement figure, again no not-picking on tiny issues (that surprised me). Maybe in both cases we could have made more by hanging on for a private sale but how much more would we have made? I’m not greedy and life’s too short. 😊

I’m not greedy and life’s too short. 😊 I don’t see it as greed trying to get the best price for a car. We sure as hell have to pay inflated prices at the moment so getting the best number is for most of us important…. As for life is too short it took me perhaps ten minutes to write up the ad for my VW and half an hour to sell it. Young lady turned up with her husband and they looked the car over job done. It would have taken me longer to take the car over to WBACs depot. Jim as for 4K over the settlement figure I have little idea what in reality that means or how it’s relevant to the best price the car may have sold for. I never have bought cars with finance so I’m not that clued up. One thing the WBAC site is useful for is finding a trade value on any car we have the registration number for. It doesn’t matter if we own the car or not we can still get a valuation. 👍👍 It’s actually quite handy. Also if we don’t have the registration number just find the same spec car on the net and use that number and add the mileage as applicable….

People come to forums to look for cars as well, so be worth having an advert on the Club Site and can be as detailed and with as many photos as you like No costs for Club Supporters either Good luck wth the sale!

Sold for £5150. For information, WBAC offered £3k and Carwow wanted to list it to dealers for £3750.

Nice one Bobby. And you got paid for your Africa bound RAV unlike the person I was speaking to this morning whose year old Defender headed that way straight off their drive via a cargo container in the dead of night.....

Would I wish such an abomination on some poor South African?😂 The LR was replaced by another but that was also nicked and written off by joyriders [bit of an oxymoron there] so that was ultimately replaced with a Shogun so not all bad.
