Right I’m currently using my sisters 1.4D MMT Yaris as she’s unable to drive anymore. Car was obviously parked up during lockdown and then she was diagnosed with the dreaded C word. So the car drives fine drove it back from Brum with no issues the gearbox is really smooth I was dreading it.
Anyway the heater seems to work fine whilst driving but when stationary it’s starts blowing cool air even if you adjust the temp to high (it’s the climate control version not manual) then as soon as your on the move it’s roasting again.
Any ideas greatly appreciated

Not sure if it is similar to the 4.3 but that has a 'self test' routine that involves pressing various buttons in turn and then the system cycles through and shows any fault codes.

Not sure Dave but it’s really weird and I like my cars warm 🤣🤣🤣 I went for a drive earlier today and it’s still doing the same thing

Check coolant level in expansion bottle, Ash…..sounds like an air lock forming due to low level of watter.
