Right we’ve decided we’re not keeping the C-HR. Last year we had issues with the screen freezing up inside and Toyota promised they’ll look at it when the weather changed. Anyway same happened again Over the weekend and the lease finishes soon. We were going to buy it originally and had the balloon/final payment ready but even though it’s a nice car I’ve really gone off it now. It had the navigation screen replaced last year due to all the damp/water in it. Anyway so we decided we want preferably a 4.4 diesel auto invincible has to be either in black or white. Had a look on Toyota website but none of them can be bothered to call back. Any help/links greatly appreciated.

I’m not a fan of the 4.4 but that one does look tempting. And WCVC does tend to have good quality stock. Looked after properly, mileage isn’t an issue with Toyotas. 😊

Prices are currently very strong on used cars . The black one will have been serviced at Toyota, so will come with that genuine Toyota warranty deal 👍🏻👍🏻

Was just checking the congestion charge for Birmingham as we travel a lot there for family and my hospital. The black ones showing as exempt but grey is showing as non compliant for Brum but it’s ok for Bradford and Portsmouth. Yes it does have a very good history and the grey one is at a Toyota dealers also. Totally forgot about the congestion charge 😳

All car prices have risen due to a huge shortage of new cars…… If a cars only gone up by a 1000 that’s actually not bad at all….. Ash look out for options on these cars. Nav was £600 Style pack which is an integrated nudge bar and side steps was £900…. Not necessary but desirable. The 4.4 without side steps look odd in my humble.

Thanks Charlie just spoke to the guy with the black one unfortunately he doesn’t want to budge on price and the steering wheel doesn’t look in the best of condition either. I do prefer the side steps as it makes it easier for myslef so would be better if I could find something that does have steps rather than having to buy them and have them fitted. Right so the search continues but thanks for the link to the black one guys

Ah ok yes I had a feeling someone did. It’s a shame about the steering wheel and my Mrs is quite fussy with things like that so unfortunately that’s off the list now. We’re not in a rush as the PCP finishes in February so we’ve just under 2 months to find something.

Right so the search continues but thanks for the link to the black one guys The leather on the steering wheels aren’t exactly tough. I have one very minor mark on my one caused by those hand sanitisers we used in the early days of the pandemic, I on the advice of Jim on here touched it up with a tiny bit of leather dye and it’s virtually unnoticeable… If I could find a spare I will get it retrimmed by Royal Steering wheels …. Whilst the steps look much better there that much area to actually step on. They are quite narrow. It depends of course on your technique of getting in or out. There should be an aluminium block with any car with genuine steps. This is used to fit to the step when jacking the car. No big deal but one should be there along with the wheel nut key 👍👍
