What F1 Sources do you tend to use to follow F1?
On the Internet, I tend to look at three main places:
1) Joe Sawards "joeblogsf1"
Joe can be a bit up his own orifice sometimes, but he provides very interesting information both post and pre Races. I have subscribed to his F1 GP+ in the past and when I got round to reading it enjoyed it. Right now I see he is offering GP+ (downloadable racing report) for £40 for this season, and that includes the full archive from edition 1 so good value especially if you like reminising back a little
2) James Allen on F1 - www.jamesallenonf1.com/
Some interesting insights on there. Overall not as interesting as Joes Blog (IMO) but a worthwhile read.
3) BBC Sports Website.
Interesting for some breaking stories and race reviews.
Any other sites on-line you would recommend for F1 Stuff?
The Printed Word
I used to buy F1 RACING Magazine and used to enjoy that, but no use for 'news' and 'previews' anymore as the on-line resources are of course so much more dynamic time-wise.
I noticed a while ago that F1 MAGAZINE is incuded in the READLY Subscription, so I will try and read it that way (I keep forgetting I have Readly!)
Any Magazines you read for F1 and recommend?
Broadcast Medium
Well, got Live Races on SKY, but at a fairly hefty £18 a month if a new subscriber. Last year I used Sky for some of the season but this year unless there is a REALLY Good Deal around I won't bother.
Mix of Live and Highlights on CHANNEL 4. WIll be watching the races this way but very little pre or post race stuff as (IMO again) the presentation team is dreadful.
Radio FIVE LIVE have most of the races Live (some get interupted too often with stuff like football scores and other commentaries) bit ok if no access to the visual option.
Radio FIVE Live do a Podcast and this can be quite interesting, but I keep forgetting about it and so miss it.
Other (legal) broadcast options and sources?
