Help required please folks. Need a good product to bring the black plastics on the Yaris back to life. They're getting quite dull now + i've managed to catch a few places when waxing/polishing and got that white residue which I just can't shift. Soooooooooooooo much choice, but no idea which products are any good

Some of the exterior plastics on the Saab tend to go grey after a while in the sun but the Dunlop stuff brings them up a treat. First class in the cabin as well on the black plastic bits. Off on a tangent, WD40 also works well on brightening up plastic but I don’t know how long the effect lasts.

G Technic do a product that works but is expensive….. All these cheap remedies look kinda ok but don’t last long.
It’s really worthwhile masking all black stuff and badges before polishing. 👍👍

Been using this for years: Rub it on and leave as is or buff up. Easy to clean off paintwork and stays black for ages. Can also be used on tyres.

It’s supposed to be but in reality I think none last forever. One of the best ones though 👍👍

I have just used this, which is also intended for window rubbers (i am sure that a similar product is available in the UK). A light grey and visibly scratched bumper now looks like this. (Obviously the scratches are still there but not so noticeable)
I will let you know how it lasts
