I know it's artificial overtaking but I do think they ought to move the DRS activation point on Zone 1 to make it available longer, that way even some of the slower cars could get past the faster cars

Looks like not a live race for us terrestrial TV watchers 😟 Unfortunately just highlights on C4 at 1pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday! There are also short, less than 2 minute, clips on You Tube formula 1 that give highlights www.youtube.com/user/Formula1I have looked at FP1 and FP2 but will probably wait for Ch4 highlights for the rest.

I think the pattern is every other race live? I tried to find the info in the C4 website but I cannot find ANY listings for ANYTHING on that site!!

I forgot about More4 and there has been some coverage there! Ignore that! I was away in Yorkshire when FP2 was recorded for the previous GP and I thought that was for the current GP! So the coverage is indeed very limited on Ch4.

Well done to Red Bull they spiced up the race between them, I got this theory that Mercedes have it the ground running and winning from the start , they’ve no had to do any strategy to win a race ..Lewis should have come in for tyres when the VSC happened , also the car is unstable if in second place or lower due to aerodynamic....they have some work to do . Made me laugh as Vettel lost place after place 😊....Max is a lad ! He just goes for it 😎

Young Verstappen really is making himself a bit of a reputation as a liability. Now this is his 3rd Season I believe and he is still making the kind of mistakes that only a rookie should be. I think RBR should make sure they keep Danny Boy sweet and get him to re-sign while he is on a personal high.
Mercedes need to sharpen up their act strategy wise. I wouldn't be surprised to see a change of personnel on that part of the team or a new signing. This is where they need someone from the Ross Brawn school of racecraft.

Ricciardo will exit RBR at the end of this season, RBR have already said they are going to be building the team around Verstappen in the coming years, he needs to move on, I suspect both Mercedes & Ferrari are talking into his managers shellike. As to Verstappen, not sure he's capable to not going for the overtake, with Hamilton it was always going to run out of road, he would never have been along side far enough, but with Vettel I'm not sure it was all his fault, whether Vettel likes it or not the door was open, he should not have come back onto line so ferociously all he had to do was maintain the space & both cars would have survived, possibly down to the ridiculous mirrors.
