Last year I watched the F2 Championship that is part of the F1 "Circus" and I found it very entertaining. The cars are much more even having to share a great deal of common parts so it is much more about the Team Strategy and Driver.
Lots of overtaking and because the drivers tend to be less experienced, there are quite a few wild and ambitious moves which is entertaining (think of Max Verstappens first season and half a dozen drivers like that
).
This year there will be two Sprint races on a Saturday at around half of the race weekends. Definately recommend giving it a go. This year 3 of the F1 drivers are straight from last years F2 championship.
