I have a 58812 fitted in my Rav4 and the CD player has stopped working, I can hear it running but plays no music. Have tried a few pre-recorded discs but still not playing ...any advise as I like to fix things..maybe replacement laser pick up ? 👍🏻

Not yet. I'm going to say it's probably not the "pick up". That usually results in the disc servo motor control changing the disk speed all over the place. You can usually hear it hunting about. If it's spinning normally (i.e. not much noise once it's found a track), then a "pick up" problem is unlikely.
More likely related to the other problems. Microcontroller problems are allegedly not uncommon with these particular units and if it's that, well, its not at all an easy fix for the layman.

Ok thanks Andy . No servo sound of it hunting for a track, just the sound of is spinning. Display shows a disc but nothing happens when I try changing the track.
