MMmm just that the annoying dark haired one, (not Webber) said something when introducing Ocon something along the lines of "Here is Ocon who might not be in the paddock next year, mind you for that matter we might not be as well" I sort of took that as CH4 won't be showing F1 next year, maybe they will just do it all as a studio based highlights show, I have to say I normally skip over all the prerace stuff.
As things currently stand, Sky have an exclusive deal (in the UK) and Channel 4 won't be showing F1 at all ... Whatever happens "the annoying dark haired one" needs to be taken out and shot (metaphorically speaking, of course).

Edit:- James Allen,

After a while I kinda got used to James Allen and didn't mind him. But to use that other prats line ... "A call to action dear viewers [dip of body for emphasis] - someone needs to come and shoot my annoying Welsh Arse off" Now there's tidy Not sure what will happen next year with FTA coverage? Maybe highlights on a Sky Channel that is available on Freeview & Freesat (like Sky News is for example)? Oh, ref Studio Coverage ... that is how it was in the late 70's/Early 80's on the BBC. Murray Walker and James Hunt in a TV Studio in London and the only images they had were the ones from the local TV company, same as the viewers saw. And back then they would go to the live races late and cut coverage before the ends quite often if something like Horse Jumping was on. Clearly watching "Everest Double Glazing" jumping over a few poles was of more interest then Motor Racing.
