The other day I cleaned the RAV4 and had a bit of extra Time, so found the clay bar and went to do roof but the clay was very hard , kept it in the palm of my hand for 10 mins and it was usable, yet in the summer it’s very soft, can it be put in warm water or just don’t do clay baring in colder weather ? Or are there some better brands that stay softer ?

Clayed the wheels of the misses' car at the weekend. Left the bar indoors overnight (its normally in the garage), near a radiator, and was nice and soft.
Would probably remove the wheels next time though. It's tough on old the back!! Front wheels of my Yaris need clay bar attention next.

Wash thoroughly before waxing.

Bob claying is more effective in cool temperatures than warm as the clay holds it shape better when it’s cool. Pop I’m warm water to soften if required..
