Certainly an impressive improvement. Pity the mechanicals etc haven't been looked after so quite so well according to MOT recent history.

Errrr It’s not mate. Anyone could get the same results. Picking an oxidised red car to impress isn’t doing it one bit. Take a really swirled silver car and get the same finish.... Not so easy.

Merc must have laid down some layers back then.

What do you recommend as a general shampoo that I can use for the normal wash, and I understand that would need to be PH neutral to protect the wax.

There are some really nice ones that you would need to go onto detailing sites for. But for general everyday use I use the stuff from Costco that I buy in 5 litre containers. I think it’s Simonez.. Chemical guys Citrus Wash and Gloss is a favourite. It’s great stuff and you really do put a tiny bit into your bucket. You might just find it on EBay or Amazon. 👍👍👍 Found it www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chemical-Guys-Citrus-Wash-Gloss/254655312777?epid=2255953872&hash=item3b4aa3b389:g:OukAAOSwf~dfEEFB
