There comes a time in every drivers career when the takes a drive just for the pay cheque .

It's a shame about Vettel. He joined Ferrari at just the wrong time when their competitive edge has gone walkies. Reminds me of when Rossi left Yamaha and signed for Ducati; not even a 9 times World Champion could make a purse out of that particular sow's ear. I hope Vettel finds a competitive seat before his undoubted talent desserts him. He seems like a nice guy to boot, certainly more so than some of the other posers in F1.

He can seem a bit aloof sometimes but it goes with the single mindedness that goes with his sport. I’m not criticising his taking a seat taking millions but it like many other drivers signals the beginning of the end.

If you see some of the interviews he has given, he seems a very down to earth guy especially when he did the Top Gear drive in the reasonably priced car. You are right about the career ending moves in the sport. I just hope he still gets the opportunity to show his talent. 👍

Not sure where that leaves Perez now...guess the F1 merry-go-round will be in full swing and another driver could loose his set to accommodate Perez 🤔

It's a funny thing with Vettel. I do think he is a very decent driver but don't understand why he is doing so badly in comparision to his teammate  The dame thing happened when Riciardo joined Red Bull and seemed to show him up - and I wouldn't have put Danny Ric as a massively better at all (Again, good, bit maybe on a par?). Them of course, Danny Ric got shown up by Max, which was fair enough as he probably really is in a league above and just two (him and Lewis). I hope he gets a bit revitalised. I think Perez is better than Lance Stroll, so I wonder why Laurance Stroll decided to keep his son on instead ( ). If Vettel doesn't outperform Lance then that would be a major embarassement and even worse then Michael Schumacher loosing against Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes in most of the races. Not sure where Perez will go? Maybe HAAS? Magnesson is no champion in the making, that is for sure and Perez would be better no doubt in my mind.

Depending on how much money he can bring with him & it used to be a lot there could be a seat at Williams, get rid of Laugheti.
