Our sun roof on our 4.2 has started leaking. I have checked the drain holes and they are clear. The only place that the leak could be coming from seems to be the rubber seal that surrounds the glass. It appears to be secure, but has anyone had this problem, and what if any success, if any, did you have with resealing or fixing?

Try to get hold of some 'Gummi Pflege' rubber treatment Ainsley. It reconditions rubber seals. Really good stuff. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274126077420Also available as a stick' Clean rubbers, dry and then apply with a cloth or applicator, spread evenly and allow to dry or dry off with a cloth. No guarantees but often works with leaking folding roofs.

I think I will get some of this anyway as it will be useful on the van as well. I think I may have to reseal the roof with some sort of mastic. I replaced this roof panel some years ago, and it has taken a lot of sun while here in Spain. Luckily I have the car in the garage at the moment as it been wet, it seems to leak with just a little rain!
