It is flat captive washer type, Bob/Mike.......those alloys also best ever, made in That Italy by Ronal, still very much in business. Do you know what size? 12mm, 10mm, length? Got a picture? If not no big deal, I'll soon find out. Ebay search......Toyota Captive Washer Wheel Nuts.......size there. The hex is choice of 19 or 21mm......I always use 21....better for torquification imho. M12 x 1.5........19/21mm hex.

Fuel filler pipe is back at the tank end, remove near side rear wheel, you’ll see a plastic cover on the inner wing, remove cover (10mm bolts) and inspect condition of fuel filler pipe, if all good coat in wax oil and refits cover .

Any plastic to metal stickiness required use either Tigerseal or Sikaflex. Prefer Tigerseal myself but can be messy unless carefully masked off and any excess cleaned off with white spirit before set.

In fact you get a few different choices to make it even more confusing. Rather hear it from the horses mouth.

These are the fuel filler pipes Bob was referring to. Thanks. I'll check that out. However, the MOT history mentions as an advisory in 2017 that the "offside front brake pipe slightly corroded" Is this the same pipe?

On our first RAV 4.2 (02- reg), every MOT mentioned one or other of the brake pipes showing corrosion. Subsequent investigation never found any and I'm convinced that the dealer was just pissed because I didn't let them grease the brake unions at each service!

Yeah you're right I got a bit confused there. Anyway I'll check it out.

Hi Mike , I have replied to your message. The best mod I have done to my Rav is adding cruise control ! Uncle Bob originally steered me in the right direction with his ‘how to’ post and all you need is a steering wheel off eBay with the cruise control stalk fitted.. Mine cost the grand total of £40.

I've replied back mate. Just let me know how much and how you want paying and I'll sort it. The Cruise Control I suppose is another item on my 'wish list' especially if it's a case of just plug and play.
