Looks interesting. I always thought that Toyota had the perfect small SUV in the Urban Cruiser. I reckon if they had given it an auto box option and had offered decent colours/trim options, it would have been a winner. But the dead hand of Toyota GB killed it.

I actually would buy that for the Mrs. The amount of fuel the 4.2 goes through this would make a big difference

Toyota a very smart at placing different models around the world , my guess is it would never come to the UK as it could step on the toes of C-HR sales 🤔

So, as things stand, I could see myself buying a Raize (if it were available in the UK) but I can no longer see any chance of my buying a CH-R. It competes in the space of the Panda 4x4 and the Ford Ecosport - both of which sell reasonably well in the UK. Toyota has no competing car in that space at all (in the UK) ... In fact, the idea of having a big RAV and a little Raize is quite appealing ... ... but, as you say, I very much doubt that it will happen ...

It looks good. Maybe Toyota will bring a hybrid version to the UK.

I personally don't like the looks of the C-HR and would not go for one, but the Raize is much more interesting I agree about the Urban Cruiser. Jim is spot on - that could have been a proper contender if Toyota GB actually brought in the right versions and sold them at the right price. Talking about Daihatsu, they did of course have the Terios, which was a nice little 4x4 motor and I believe Toyota badged in some markets? I haven't checked but wouldn't be shocked to find out the Toyota Raize is also a Diahatsu Terios.

Nicer than the Raize (maybe they will grown on me, but the latest styling cues from Toyota are not really gelling for me).
