Are we open to talk about it now, is everybody up to date, I have a question but don't want to spoil it for anybody who isn't up to date.
Why did they bring Lewis in for new tyres, there was no chance of him getting past Seb, why did they not leave him out his tyres were good enough he had enough of a lead over Seb, Valtteri could have cruised up behind him then gone past or was that what they were worried about?

Exactly the same question here ... {Spoilt answer ...} I assume that Mercedes judgement was that the tyres wouldn't actually have finished the race so that Lewis was better off coming in sooner rather than later ... but I wish he'd been left out and told to try to preserve his tyres.
Also, I rather suspect that Mercedes are trying to engineer a one - two finish in the drivers championship. So while they won't do too much to prejudice Lewis chances of winning, they'll do everything they can to ensure that Valteri finishes second ahead of Seb.

I managed to avoid knowing the result but I haven't always been that lucky. I have moaned about Sky in the past and refuse to pay them any money! I have recently been getting annoyed about the BBC licence fee too! On the other hand I am a convert to Netflix and think Amazon Prime is good as well. I know loads of people who no longer pay (well they say they don't) a bbc licence. Is it law?? We like Netflix too - looks like a new series of Fastest Car to get stuck into over the winter. Don't have sky - but the gym does, so unfortunately couldn't dodge the result. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I pay the licence fee mainly because my wife seems to like watching some stuff I could happily do without - like the GBBO and the Apprentice. I also have two Humax recording boxes (one for Freesat and the other for Freeview) and I believe the law is that one needs a licence to record or watch live TV. I believe it is okay to stream catch up TV but not BBC iPlayer without a licence. Thanks for the heads up on Fastest Car - I wasn't aware and will look for that.

Okay so you've all had plenty of time to catch up, so why did Mercedes bring Lewis in, I don't believe their story, I feel they thought once Valtteri caught him he wouldn't move over which then gave Seb a chance to catch them both, but I think they threw away an easy 1-2.

Sky you absolute bunch of stupid, inconsiderate, moronic, useless, insert multiple abusive comments. I was out all day at my fathers 95th & my uncles 90th birthday celebration. So came back in time to watch the 18:30 re-run, switched on the laptop on at 18:25 only to see them show Hamilton crossing the finish line to a commentary of "Hamilton wins, leads from pole to finish along with the fastest lap" WTF, which planet do these IDIOTS live on.

The BBC got me last night by putting the result on the front page of their news website ahead of the highlights on C4. But at least they then went on to describe the race as 'soporific' thus saving me the bother of watching it at all!

Think your right, for once the beeb did you a favour.
