I see Ferrari have officially lodged a "right to review" the penalty that cost Sebastian Vettel victory in the Canadian Grand Prix.I wonder what new evidence they can produce that will even allow this as a mere mortal like myself cannot think of any. Of course for many years some people used to joke that F.I.A. stood for Ferrari International Aid seeing as so much seemed to end in Ferrari's benefit.

could be telemtry information like steering wheel position and traction levels of tyres (based on engine speed, gear and RPM) to show the way he re-entered the track was out of his control (as the offence was a dangerous re-entry, which implies some intent I would think?) the given penalty could be possibly overturned on a technicality if the above are found (I think the correct penalty if one were given should have been one of gaining an advantage by cutting the corner, but I don't think they said that - and I don't believe they can change the reason for a penalty now.)
