There are some who think wee engines can’t be fun........ Not so. I really enjoy thrashing my wee IQ along the very tight very twisty country roads out here... Truth be told it’s more fun than the MX5. Plus it runs on fumes. Not sure if I ever mentioned that ??
69 BHP ain’t a lot but trust me it’s a quick wee thing and once up to speed that speed can be held through the corners and honestly it really puts a grin on my face..
Now here’s the thing.... It’s looking a wee bit ............Well not mint now. Front bumpers a bit out of colour and the repair to the door where that Scrooge tried to get in is a bit out of colour plus the bonnet is stone chipped to buggery.
So I’m thinking of having it wrapped in urban camo in black white and grey.........
I will never sell this car I will run it till it dies so the result in doing the above is of no consideration...

I remember seeing a fancy Audi sports saloon wrapped in a Matt Black effect and thought it looked dead cool  A car the size of the IQ should be pretty cheap to do as well, so if you did it and got bored with it after a while it would not have been a major outlay. |

Seen a couple of cars near here wrapped in matt black...not the cool look it once was as its becoming common as muck..... speaking of which, I'm considering getting my Volvo wrapped in bird poo style so I stop worrying. Half way there already.
Your comment about twisty roads reminded me of when I had a Morris Minor 1000 van - in primer colour grey. basic but it could fair run around the embankments of the roads between Glasgow and Berwick..ie the old back roads through Peebles. I used to do the run at least twice a week while working down there and got to know each bend really well. No wide wheels or low profile tyres back then..just bog standard but stuck to the road/grass/verge/embankment like glue. And quite sprightly too. The wee RAV4 was the only other car to come anywhere close to match it. Thems were the days. The roads now overgrown with high hedges, so i wouldn't try it, far less with the Volvo which has a nice metallic blue hue shining through the bird poo.

I love the rav on the tight twisty b roads round here. Great fun. Also a bit of mini off-roading around the reservoirs always puts a smile on my face.
