Decided to join you all & went & bought one today, but 3 things have slightly annoyed me
1. The 'stick' has no adaptor cable so I couldn't use it on the back of my TV as it's wall mounts, I had to use it in the one on the side, which I already had something in.
2. Similar complaint about the power adaptor it has the lead coming out the back so it can't pick up power from the socket behind the TV or the TV won't sit back against the wall, I now have a cable from the TV across the wall to a wall socket until I can get another power adaptor.
3. The remote worked straight away as soon as the unit powered up, using the remote I connected it to the WiFi, it downloaded the updates & rebooted, it then lost connection to the remote so I had to remove the batteries from the remote, put them back in again & then press the 'pair' button.
It's all working again, but niggling little things like this annoy me as they can only be saving pennies.

I used it for a couple of hours yesterday and went back to watch qualifying and had to unplug the power lead 3 time for it to reboot and connect to WiFi....frustrating 🙄

Well I've just got comfortable with the build up to the race on, to be told by my wife that she's just received a text from our expectant daughter to say 'get ready I think it's time'  Honestly these women can be so selfish at times..  |

As to this NowTV so disappointed currently the quality is very poor, in the panning it's losing focus, is this my Internet or normal, far worse than iPlayer, My5 or the ITV one

the quality of the picture comes and goes. that I think is the nature of watching live broadcasts over the internet for many (I get that with YouTube a fair bit). I am changing provider within the next month anyway as they have been very poor despite a "guaranteed" 54Mb download speed

As soon as the race finished we swapped over to the Firestick carried on streaming & there was no issue or buffering, going to get onto NowTV to see what they think.

Try watching sky sports F1 now and see what it is like? It could be a user load/contention type thing? I know when I tried ttk watch this races on the internet via a dodgy website, the picture would we fine but just as the race was about to start it all went Pete Tong and buffered all the time - and I am sure that was down to too many people trying to pull the stream. |
