Well Mrs P has gone and done it, with little encouragement from me I might add, and I did wonder how long it would take especially with winter coming upon us quickly?? Yes you've guessed it she's gone and bought another Rav Yes folks another Rav, this time an ickle 3 door in the colour she's always wanted Astral Black and I must admit it looks a nice motor. When I was going to put the few bits we had up for sale left from the previous Rav, Ol Blue, she said would it be worth keeping those in case we got another Rav?? She had mentioned before that she is missing the Rav but I never thought she would get another one so soon and best of all it's a manual  I suppose I am partly to blame as I was ordered to keep an eye out for a decent-ish, cheap-ish one and found one fairly local as luck would have it, so went and had a look and then a test drive and bingo. Yes please it was sold. Anyway it's a 2002 NRG VVTI in Astral Black, rear privacy glass, side steps, and rather nice chrome backed wing mirrors, and just over 96k on the clock, part service history, and all looks neat and tidy though there are some scuff marks on the body and what looks like cuts in the plastic part round the door, piccys to follow. Who'd have thought it, not me

Good for you, Paul. The 4.2 3-dr is a lovely car. I sometimes wish we still had both of ours, a silver and a forest green.

I do like the 3 door! It will be handy for you too - you will be able to load it up nicely!
Well done.

Cheers Jim, i just hope it meets her expectations when we get it on the road, but in the mean time I will be washing and waxing and hopefully making some of the scuffs look better :TU:

So have you sacked the wee car ? No Charlie we still have the Yaris which she loves but I think the realisation set in that it might not be so good in the snowy conditions so having both cars now I just hope she doesn't use the Rav more than the Yaris as I don't know how the battery engine in the Yaris will be if it's not used daily??
