Finally decided to sell our 4.3 as I’m really struggling to drive it now. I’ve priced it similar to what others are selling for. the car is spot on and has extended Toyota warranty till June 2020 which is transferable for £20. Recently MOT’d and serviced too at local Toyota. It does have a few bad points the drivers seat bolster has a rip and there are a few chips on the bonnet and a few scratches which will polish out and the usual marks on the wheels due to wear and tear. I had the run flats removed too. The replacement engine has now done around 55K roughly. I knew if I let him even see the car it would be "I've come all this way specially and and and ...." and ask for more off so didn't even entertain the idea. I used to do Alloy Wheel refurbs and go to Car Boots to promote myself. I remember one guy saying "I can get all 4 wheels done by Hamish (or whoever) for £40" I'd reply "Sounds Great. Give me his number and I'll take all my customers wheels there to get done" - never got the number ever PS. Just reminded me of another one .... When selling new stuff and someone says "the shop up the road is selling that for £10 less"; so you say "why don't you buy it there then?" and they say "they are out of stock"; so the reply is "well, whenI am out of stock it will be £10 less as well" |

I'm going through this just now with mine....."let me tell you a story..." - well not today but maybe later! Good luck getting it sold. Just need a sudden snowfall and they'll be queuing up at the door! |
