Morning everyone, I have a 2007 rav4 xt-r 2.2d d4d with a loud droning from offside front. As it went away when turning right I assumed wheel bearing. I replaced both front bearings and although the noise got much quiter it never went away completely. Now i have a company vehicle the wife has the rav4 and has told me the noise is really bad and can also now be felt through the chasis. It doesnt go away while driving and putting foot on clucth or breaking and gets louder as speed increases. I'm assuming I either fitted the wheel bearing incorrectly, although I don't see how as it was the complete hub, of there is something else wrong. Not up to speed on 4wd and how the transmission works so any info or pointers would be greatfully received.
Thanks
Darren

Yeah both fronts replaced about 5 months ago and tracking done at same time as I was eating through front tyres every 4 months (wearing on inside). It really sounds like a wheel bearing that's about to fail!!! But as earlier both fronts have been replaced.
