It was Charlie but i gave it a good clean on Sunday, first time i have washed it properly for in ages and am still suffering for it  . I noticed there is a scratch on the roof going from side to side which might polish out, there are two scratches on the driver's side back panel and the spare wheel cover looks poor so when it was picked up yesterday i mentioned them parts and they rang me earlier today saying they will do the whole back panel and spare wheel cover for half price so i said yes, along with the door and bonnet :yes: We have also decided to follow Uncle Bobs lead and have new headlight fitted as ours have Yellowed again and the lights looked really dim when we were coming home Sunday evening in the dark even with the new Osram night Breakers fitted. |

The Rav is back :yes:
Got a call late yesterday afternoon saying they can drop it off shortly so going dark by the time it got here, but first impressions in a darkening sky are good, so will grab some piccys later weather permitting :TU:

So here are the new panels resprayed which show a vast improvement we think compared to how it was :yes: We decided to have the rear quarter panel resprayed as well as there were two nasty scratches on the wheel arch and on panel above. What will be best to do now to protect it more, should i wash it all and just rewax it even though the new painted panels have been polished and waxed?     |

I would wax it and leave it. Of course they polish it but they only do it very lightly with a low cut polish as the paint will be very soft. So wax it and leave it till next spring and do a gentle refining polish on it.
Take care when washing for a few months as well 👍👍
