For some reason this is always my favourite thread of the year.
Love to here people's automotive plans. It's exciting/interesting.
In the clarki house;
1. Polo - will just be driven (by mrs clarki, it's not really my cup of tea)
2. Yaris - will just be driven (mainly the 9 miles to/from work)
3. MX-5 - will just be driven (my favourite of all the cars we've got)
4. SLK - won't be driven (but won't EVER be sold, off to storage this year)
5. MR2 - lots to do; paint, roof, ARBs, driving, coilovers, rear spoiler, driving, short shift kit...
6. Caterham - refreshed engine to be re-fitted (coming out of storage this year)
Should keep us happy :driving:

We're going to look at a couple of cars on Monday. I won't say now what they are but I'm quite surprised that I'm even considering them....... .

I love the look of the b4z Toyota range , but they're so expensive.
Me , I'll have to keep my mitsi- it is juicy but then so is another car.
But.. I do miss being with Toyota.

Car plans for 2022 .... Same as 2021,2020,2019 and 2018 .... Keep running the Vauxhall Corsa. Might seem boring, but it works perfectly (unlike the last Toyotas), is cheap to tax and insure, costs under £200 a year to service, MOT and repair and at around 2,000 miles a year no point in changing.

Is it just me or are prices on used cars starting to slip a little now??
New stuff still ££mega but i'm watching a couple of possible Yaris replacements at the moment and both have been reduced in the last week or so :yes:

Was supposed to view a 2014 Audi S5 cabriolet today with very low miles but someone else beat me to it.
Plan is to sell the wee GTI and the MX5 and replace with one car…. The MX5 didn’t do 200 miles last year and both cars have been on SORN since last autumn. 👍👍

My car plan hasn't changed since 2014, not because I wouldn't like an electric RAV but because I haven't got the money I suppose I could try "Give a little" or "Crowdfunding" or whatever it's called??? .
