Yesterday... A very early start with some friends, and a four hour drive in a Rr Evoque. Loads to see , loads of photos: but this amongst a few others sounded..... Well , lovely.  |

It’s been a while since I went to that show…. Always was very good. We’re avoiding such venues until Covid is on the back foot. I was told it’s quite a procedure to get in right now with the various checks.
Do they still charge a lot for parking Jamie ?

I used to always park in the Train station car park which was cheaper and much, much handier to access from the halls themselves. |

I used to always park in the Train station car park which was cheaper and much, much handier to access from the halls themselves. The parking puts a lot of people off visiting the NEC….. All the shows there are very expensive then they add insult to injury by charging expensive parking charges. The exhibitors pay an absolute fortune to have stands there as well…. My mate who is the manager (online sales ) of a large garden machinery suppliers was telling me last week it’s ten K for a small stand and upwards. Stihl pay over 50K for their stand which is big but not the biggest. 👍 |

Queues 300 metres long to get in, but we moved quickly. 3 of us in the car.. costs shared. |

A long day. But , worth it... been a long time without a decent days out. I wore a mask all day , and being very careful what I touched. Sanitizing after loos too. |

I’ll be going to the classic car show in March we’ve paid the parking in advance. My mates got a stand for one of his cars and I managed to get in with him so only paying for the parking 😊

You all should have gone to the camping and caravan show, entry £10, free parking (yes, in the NEC).
