Just thought i'd give another update as i still have symptoms and feeling knackered all day and having to force meself out of bed else i could spend all day in there which i don't wanna do. However today is the best i have felt again so just hope it now continues but i have been here before feeling like this only to feel crap the following day and onwards.

After my booster it seemed to take forever to shake off the after effects. It took a few weeks but eventually came good. Stick with it, Paul, it’ll pass.👍👍

Sorry to hear that Paul. How is Mrs Paulus? Hopefully you'll start to feel stronger over the coming days Thanks David :TU: As i say Mrs P has been fine throughout and could have carried on working she says but had to isolate for the ten days as her LFTs were still showing positive where as mine were showing negative after a few days but i still felt/feel terrible.

We'd our booster on 31/10 and felt no bad after it. I took a bad cold on 22 Dec- sneezing, dry cough, nose running (thats means it was dripping fluid and no running awa), aches and pains and tiredness. So took several LFT at home and all negative. Getting worse, I went for a PCR test on Christmas day (Santa wisnae there...) and the result came back Boxing Day to say negative. Odd as its all the symptoms of Omicron. Phoned GP on 30 Dec to say my chest was crackling (naw...I wisnae in the oven fur a heat)and I was concerned that it was a chest infection...so got 5 days of antibiotics which finishes tomorrow. Starting to feel better but still sleeping 12 hours a day, and a bit of a cough. The missus got the same ailment 4 days later, and seeing as she has COPD, got a weeks antibiotics on the 30th. She is still isolating in her bedroom and coughing a lot - not been outside since last year.
Odd as we both had the flu jag on 31 Oct too, so either the flu jag was worthless or we have Omicron which has escaped detection on the LFTS.
So I've an idea of how/what suffering Paul and david have enjoyed. For me, its a real bummer as I've just recovered from 10 weeks of a bladder infection. Have started on double dose vitamin D in the hope of avoiding anything more.

Our youngest daughter had all the symptoms you describe Bothy about two weeks before i got them but she tested negative on the LFTs she was doing so phoned the doctors up who said it was Covid and to get a PCR test done ASAP but that came back as negative also. As for me i'm feeling better but still not 100%, still feeling tired and just dropping off for short naps throughout the day
