Qualification and Race live on Channel 4. Also Live on Sky One, so watchable with anyone with a basic Sky Sub and no Sky Sports subscription required. (Can avoid Jones the plank this weekend! Yeah!!  ) |

I've been noticing for a while now that the races are on Sky 1.
I have subscribe to the F1 channel only, which I have had since it was released and feel that I'm paying for it for no reason, when the races are on Sky 1.
I'll have to look into this !!!

I watched some practice today .....Grosjean done what he’s good at ..through it in the armco barrier ! Max also done the same 🙄

I am only aware of the British GP being on Sky One? That has been the case for last few years, and occasionally have catch-up programs on there but not the races themselves unless things have changed? |

Ah, ok, maybe it's just a few select GPs they put on Sky 1.

It's something to do with a semi-legal requirement of having certain 'classic' sporting events on Free to Air TV (I know Sky itself is not Free to Air generally, especially the Sports Channels, but Sky do make some channels free always - like Sky News - and some channels free occasionally - like Sky One, as long as you have 'Freesat by Sky', which is basically a Sky Box out of Contract)

Great race from a spectators point of view 👍🏻 Sadly Lewis didn’t get what he wanted out of the day ....do wish he didn’t get the sulks in the podium room 😢 |

It didn't end too well though as we had used the park and ride from Turweston aerodrome and the bus driver got lost down the small country lanes on the way back to the car park , twice... With all the passengers on the bus getting a little irritated due to the heat. |

Well what a screw up by Mercedes, when are they going to learn, that's twice they have got it wrong on tyres, they need new tacticians, or at least bolder tacticians, they were just lucky they could turn the engines up, but that may return to haunt them in the future when the engines get towards their life expectancy.
